Sandy Ramsey
Sandy has a graduate degree in psychology from the University of Nebraska, had a private practice for 10 years and taught college level psychology for about 9 years. She is listed in several editions of Whos Who, including Whos Who in America. For the past 15 years, she has been active in several organizations that respond to disasters. She has responded to floods, fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, mass fatality transportation accidents, 9/11 in New York City, Sri Lanka for tsunami relief efforts, and to Louisiana for Hurricane Katrina. In 2005 she founded a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, Crisis Recovery International, which responds to areas affected by war, conflict, or disaster with humanitarian aid.
Steven J. Roy
In the last thirty seven years, Steven has been a business developer, management consultant, or financial manager for over 1,100 entertainment, technology, and real estate businesses. He has been an officer, director or trustee of thirty-one companies, a member of the IRS National Technology Task Force, a financial affairs consultant to the Los Angeles Public Safety Employee Division, and has taught finance, taxation, and management through UCLA Extension Services. In addition to his duties as CEO of CCSR, Inc. and Gallerief65, Steven currently assists Crisis Recovery International, the Los Angeles Mounted Police Foundation, and Uncommon Good.
Bob Hitchcock
Robert K. Hitchcock is Professor of Geography and is a core faculty member in the Center for Global Change and Earth Observations (CGCEO) at Michigan State University. Originally trained as an anthropologist, Hitchcock has carried out spatially oriented research and development work in Africa, Latin America, the Pacific, and North America. Over the past four decades, Hitchcock has served as an international development consultant, social specialist, remote sensing specialist, and advisor to governments and international agencies on issues relating to resettlement, land use planning, indigenous peoples’ rights, climate change, drought, and disaster responses, and community-based natural resource management. Much of his professional career has been spent working on issues relating to the San (Bushmen) of Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Carl S. Higbee
Carl Higbee is a 30 year law enforcement veteran and also a 17 year medicolegal death investigator. Carl is a retired hostage/crisis negotiator, criminal justice instructor and police supervisor. He earned a PhD from American College in 1997 in business and ethics. Carl is currently a member of the Disaster Mortuary Operations Response Team VIII and served at the World Trade Center Disaster and Hurricanes Rita and Katrina relief. He currently owns and operates "The Web Dr" computer and web services.
