Text Box:     In Sri Lanka too English & computer literacy is a must.  Most of the job opportunities are missed as we are not talented enough.  Most of the computer courses are limited to 45 hours as 3 hour a day and 1-2 days for a week.  Only 2 or 3 hours are allowed to use the computer labs & it is awfully inadigute to practice well.
Most of people have computers their own but they wouldn’t let us to use them & make excuse to avoid us by making use them; saying about electricity bills, that’s how we have to face the situation.  In an another interview, I lost as I was unable to balance the accounts using the computer.  Though I have a good knowledge in accounting & can well manage manually, I am unable to use the computer accounting.  I missed another chance at an Italian office, as they refused me of my typing speed e-mail & internet.  Both computer &computer courses are very expensive.  Government have launched many more computer programmes but the local politician interfear the management & he is the person who selects the pupils, so we rearly get the chance.  I have sent hundreds of applications for various job opportunities, yet I haven’t fixed for any one.
